As an aggressive player, I have learned a number of valuable lessons while wagering over the decades. Whether you prefer to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the many internet casinos. Here are my golden protocols of gambling, most of which can be thought of as common sense, but if accepted they will assist you in going a long way to departing with a sense of enjoyment.

Rule 1: Go into a casino with a determined value that you are willing and are able to afford to risk – How much would you spend for a night out on diner, cocktails, entrance charges and tips? This is a good value to use.

Rule two: Do not carry your debit card with you – or any means of withdrawing cash out. Don’t worry about cash for the cab if you burn all of it; most cab drivers, specifically the taxis booked through casinos, will drive you home and will be more than happy to wait for the moola when you get home.

Rule three: Stick to your set cap. I always imagine what I would want to buy should I profit. The last time I went, I determined I would would love to purchase a new Video Game system which retailed at $400, so that was my predetermined limit. As soon as I surpassed that value, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and say goodbye. Leave comfortable in the understanding that you will be proceeding into town and getting a delightful new toy!

Rule 4: Have fun. When you’re "enthusiastic" you will profit. It is a fact. I don’t understand the reason why, but it clearly is. As soon as it becomes a job, or you are just playing to acquire cash you have lost, you will exhaust even more. When you are profiting, feeling a great time with your friends, or your significant other, you usually will win more and more.
